We have some exciting news about our Guest ST program!

Since all of you wonderful ladies have been doing a superb job filling up the gallery with your artwork, we thought we should take advantage of your talents and get you more involved in helping to keep our kit club to thrive.
So here is the plan...
Starting with our November kit, we are going to revamp the guest ST program to include YOU, and here is how...Send me a PM to let me know if you are interested in having a turn at being our guest on the ST and I will add you to the list. Each month, I will choose one of you to help promote the scrapbook kit for that month. So when I send the kit to the ST members to prepare for the reveal I will send you a kit as well! The kit will be no charge to you but here are the requirements

a)you must agree to create at least 3 layouts and whatever else you can with the kit.
b) you need to take photos of your artwork and email them to me by a specified date.
c) you need to post a challenge on the 1st and 15th of the month
d) promote the kits as much as you can on your blog, the Scrap~tures Facebook Page, etc.
e) participate in the forums as much as you can during your guest month.

Also, during your guest month, you will also be entitled to a 20% discount in the Scrap~tures store!We will create a new forum for you as our "Guest of the Month" where other club members can get to know you better!So what do you say? If this is something you would like to participate in, please send me a PM or an email and I will add you to the list. Everyone on the list will have a turn!!
PLEASE NOTE...You must be open to having your kit artwork posted on the Scrap~tures blog and Facebook group and gallery.
Unfortunately at this time, because of timing issues with postage, we can only offer this to Canadian club members. This is open to all Canadian Scrap~tures members so long as you DO NOT already create for another Canadian kit club. If you have any questions at all, please let me know!

What's Happening Wednesday!!!

This one is Crista's..I love the colours she's chose and the splash of blue makes everything pop~ This fun layout is by our new member Laura-Lee or DoubleL in the forums. This one was done for our Back To School crop!

This beauty belongs to Jennifer or Wustaz as she's known at Scrap~tures. It's so pretty, all those delicate embellishments are just perfect !

I also wanted to tell you about a card making workshop Denise is holding!

It's on Saturday November 13th from 1pm - 4pm in the community room at the Superstore in Midland , Ontario.

For $40.00, or $35.00 if you bring a friend, all workshop participants will receive a full card kit and we will demonstrate how to make some Christmas cards and another little project using the kit. Participants get to take home their completed projects as well as all of the leftover contents in the kit. The kit will include 4 sheets of designer paper, 4 sheets of Bazzill cardstock, an ink pot, a stamp, envelopes and other goodies to embellish your cards.

Please let us know if you plan to attend so that we can reserve a spot for you!

This is a perfect way to get some of those Christmas cards done and out of the way!!!

New Month, New Challenges...

Here we are again at a new month which brings some new amazing challenges!!!

Wally's sketch challenge this month gives us this awesome sketch from Pagemaps!!!

Kelly's challenge this month is to use layers. She'd like to see at least 3 layers in one spot. Isn't her example just gorgeous!

Ellen's card challenge is to use this sketch and create Christmas cards!!!!

Denise's challenge this month is to do a card or a layout with Thanksgiving in mind or something you are grateful for! Here is her beautiful example!

I also want to tell you about the New & Exciting way you can win monthly challenges here at Scrap~tures!

Each month, as you know, we post a Master Challenge Thread in the Master Challenge forum. What we are going to ask you to do is grab a spot in that thread and each time you complete a challenge, please post it in the challenge thread but don't forget to go to your spot in the master challenge thread and add it to your list. This is how we will know what challenges you have completed and each challenge completed gets you an entry into the monthly prize draw!!! So for example, if you have completed 4 challenges for the month, your name will go into the hat 4 times!!! So the more you complete, the more of a chance you have at winning!

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL-->Aside from this, starting with the October challenges, we are going to also offer an end of year grand prize!!! How you can win this is participate in as many challenges as you can throughout the year! In your siggie line, keep a running total of how many Scrap~tures challenges you complete. At the end of the year, I will search for the top 10 people who completed the most challenges throughout the year and their name will be entered for the grand prize.

In January, I will draw for the 2010 year and then we will start fresh for 2011.The challenges can be any of the challenges that have been posted throughout the month.So come on ladies!!! Let's get those challenges done!!
