Finally Friday

SCRAPFEST BABY!!!!! We are  going to be there....booth 150, stop by and see us. Last week end I was finally creative again. I had not been in my scrap room in weeks. So I sat my butt down after cleaning off my desk and got to work. When we were in Disney for March break, my daughters friend revealed she LOVES Coke....just Coke, not diet, Coke Zero, no other brands....just Coke. So when we stopped in Daytona Beach we came across this LARGE Coke bottle. She actually hugged it. SO I searched for a sketch to help me sort out the picture I wanted to use for the layout and came across this.  Here is my layout of the girls...and their love of Coke!

Finally Friday March 1

Ok...so March is going to be a busy month. We are taking my daughter and her friend to Disney for  March break. So I decided to get ahead of the game and did a whole bunch of layouts for this month. I scoped out Pinterest and found a bunch of sketches I liked and went to town!!! So this months Finally Friday will be all about easy and sketches. Without further ado....here is week one. This sketch came from Got Sketch but I cannot find it again on their blog.

Final Friday of February

Ok.... SO here is my final Finally Friday February 2013...we have done love for a family member...card...layout... and a gift for a thank you to someone....here this one is all about you... as most of you know I have joined the camera club in my area....and I have entered some photos into challenges... so... I have made this little brag book... I have used up some of my scraps...and a dollar store photo album...that I have blingged up...
so with out any further ado...here it is...

Finally Friday

Well for this my 3rd Finally Friday... for February 15th 2013 I had to make a thank you gift for someone that had done something for me....and would accept anything from me...mainly money....so I thought a little thank you gift made by me would be nice....so here is a bit of a pay it forward kind of challenge as well...
Give someone a little hand made gift...just to say hi or thank you or just cuz....it is nice to do... 
here is what I made


I love these and it is great to use up scraps...or odds and ends of stuff you have left over from kits or other things...

I used a 4x4 coaster and covered it with cardstock then added some pretty paper...and then....glued it all together...and added the 3x3 post it notes...and a big old binder clip and there you have it... a thank you gift....
So who are you going to give your gift too... Mine is for my neighbour...

Finally Friday

 Good Snowy Morning, scrappy peeps....so we have a snow day here in Southern Ontario and it is a good day to stay inside and create. Laurie was creative in starting us off with a Valentines Day card...Here is what she said.

"with Valentines day around the corner...I thought how perfect it would be a perfect time to create a card.... I created this card... I hope I see lots of Valentine's day cards....lets see the love..." Laurie

After typing out FFFF I should have done a layout that had F's in it but instead I did a layout with K's when this picture was taken they were the 3 K Cousins....
(now there is another one...LOL) 
My Callenge to you this week is to create a layout using a photo that you love... (In honour of Valentine's Day)

Oh ladies... now this week is title week....
I used Tim Holtz Grungeboard letters.... I coloured them with red ink...... here is your challenge.... do a play on words with your title or take a title that is well known and twist it to make it fit your layout.... for instance I used "polly want a cracker" and switch it to..... Kurt wanna CRACKER

Finally Friday Progressive Week 3

Well it is Friday #3 in November....and this step to the progressive layout could be a challenge for people.... It is all about journaling...Yupp Journaling....not just journaling but private or hidden journaling...I have created a tag that is approximately 3"x 5" and hid it under my photo... 

so for your next step create a tag, or anything that you can journal on but hide it somewhere on your layout....

Finally GOOD Friday

Sooooo since it's GOOD FRIDAY and we are all in a bright and cheery mood, I
thought our Finally Friday Challenge should reflect that. Here is my layout

I WANT TO SEE RIBBON AND LOTS OF BRIGHT COLOURS!!! I have sooooo much ribbon and
tend to just put it off to the wayside...well I want to see it front and centre

Finally Friday

Well this has been a rough week for my family and although I started this layout a few days ago, I just was not feeling it. So I let it sit and went back to it tonight. I have been feeling nostalgic since the loss of our kitten and mustered up the mojo to finish this layout. I saw the original one that Vicki Boutin pinned on Pinterest, but the original came from Studio Calico...

Finally Friday

Well, it is almost St. Patrick's Day, and although I have no real idea the significance behind the actual holiday I celebrate green none the less. I am after all, Irish...and a ginger! I wear it with pride. So in honour of this green holiday I used a sage green background(which looks kinda yellow in the picture) and created this layout. So my challenge this week is to create a mostly green layout! Erin go brah and top of the morning to ya....and all that Irish jazz.  Have a great week-end.
