It's COPIC Month!!!

This months card kit is the beginning of the COPIC craze here at Scrap~tures. Each card kit will include a Copic marker, with two more being available in the kit add-on for $10.00

I've been wanting to use these markers for quite some time, but for me I was a little intimidated. It seemed that there is quite a technique in using them, and I had no idea where to start.

WELL....we are blessed to have a certified Copic instructer give us 'colouring' classes this month.

Wendy or Wendance as she's known throughout the online world does beautiful colouring and is very knowledgeable with Copics.

This is going to be a very exciting month!!!!

Spring Is In The Air!!!!!!!

If you are anything like me, you have had enough of this winter weather. It seems that the minute it warms up a bit, and the snow begins to melt, we get hit with yet another blast of snow.

I've been counting down the days until the first day of SPRING (March 20) for what seems like forever and as of today there are only 12 more days!!!

Now, I know this doesn't mean it'll instantly get warm and the snow will disappear but one can hope right???

To help celebrate the coming of SPRING 2011 and to hopefully give Mother Nature the hint that we've all had enough, I'm issuing you all a challenge...

I want to see ALL THINGS SPRING!!!

I want to see pictures to show spring is coming, layouts that are bright and cheery or even cards that somehow depict SPRING.

I'll add Mr. Linky to this post when I get home from work, so remember to come back and leave a link to show me your project.

One thing that I love to see in scrapbookers is when they show their feelings in their work. We all know how much Shannon adores her hubby and when I first saw this layout she did of him I got all kinds of warm fuzzies. Just a simply beautiful layout that tells it all. And wow, with that smile of his, no wonder she is head over heals in love with him.
