Finally Friday August 26th

The last Friday in August...so sad. Well I found an easy peasy lemon squeezy sketch from 52 Sketches. I whipped up my layout in about 15 minutes. Super fast and easy for a summer that has been super busy for most. Show us what you did and tell us how long it took.

Week 4 August Challenge - TAG YOU'RE IT!

This week I thought I'd challenge you to use tags on your layouts. I rarely use tags, no idea why , I just don't bother but thought it would be fun to see how many different ways tags can be used.

Here's my example, and I used tags to decorate the background around the picture.

Wow Friday again, it has been a long week and I almost forgot to find a sketch for this wek. But alas I did, at Scrap Wow, they had a tonne of cute sketches and showed the layouts they did with them. I chose this one which I thought was kinda fun. I have the layout done but no camera last night, so I will post my take on it later today. Week 3 August Challenge - Dream WEAVEr

How are the August challenges coming?

I hope you are enjoying them.

This week's challenge comes to you from a layout I saw in the Spring issue of Scrapbooks & Cards Today. As I was leafing through it, I noticed a layout on page 48 that has a basket weave on it. I love the look so I thought it would be cool if I challenged you to add a weave to your layout.

Here's my example using the August Kit.

The funky colours are so fun, and perfect for a couple of teenage girls trying to set up a tent

This is the August 10th Weekely Challenge

Your challenge this week is to create your entire layout on an angle...every single element you use (except your background piece) must be on an angle. We are all creatures of habit and I know for myself, I tend to stick everything on my layouts perfectly straight.

Everything used is from the August Scrapbook Kit except the turquoise stickles in the flower centers.

Well I can hardly believe it is ther first Friday in August. Here is a sketch from Stickersnfun.com.I have been trying to stick to the fun and fast sketches for summer so we can still create but not spend all our time indoors. I used the everything from the August Card kit.
