October Surprise Envie Challenge

It's that time again!!!!!

With this challenge, I send 4 scrappers an envelope of supplies. Each envelope is exactly the same. Those 4 scrappers use those products on a layout (or if you are a card maker, you can do cards) . You email me the finished product and I will reveal them all here for everyone to see.

I will take the first 3 people to respond to this post. Normally I would take the first 4 but I'm going to send an envelope to Dot this month , so I only need 3 more players!!

NOTE: If you sign up for this challenge, you MUST use everything I send on your layout. Only using some of the items doesn't make it much of a challenge to see how 4 people use the same supplies!

So Many Ideas!!!

We have two new 'forums' within our community at Scrap~tures. One is called Wally's Scrap~atizers and the other is Elcrafty's card~enticings. Both these ladies have some great ideas on their forums.

Wally gives you tips tricks and techniques for working with the Scrap~tures scrapbook kits and their contents. There are even a few ideas for using the card kits as well!

First Day of School

for a lot of us, today is very exciting...kids are running around getting ready, and with any luck..us scrappers were snapping pics of our little darlings all dressed in their new clothes, with their backpacks and lunch bags! Days like today bring back all sorts of memories..memories about when our kids started school for the very first time, and even some memories of when we were in school ourselves!

Do you have some 'back to school' layouts you'd like to show us? Or even the 'back to school' pictures you snapped this morning? We'd love to see them!

Last Day of *Summer*

Since most of the kids go back to school tomorrow, today is the 'last day of summer' for a lot of us parents. How are you spending your day??

One thing that comes with back to school, is maybe more of a routine and more time to get some scrapping done. I know a lot of us don't have the time in the summer to devote to our hobby..with taking the kids here and there to keep them busy.

SO, in order to get us all back to some scrapping, we have planned an online crop , taking place September 24, 25 and 26..mark that date on your calendars, you won't want to miss it!

There will be challenges, games and maybe even a few prizes..but most of all...lots of inspiration coming your way!
